GOD'S ORDAINED PRIEST
Heb 7:25 &28 "Wherefore, hee is able also perfectly to saue them that come vnto God by him, seeing he euer liueth, to make intercession for them. :28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is conse-crated for evermore."
Who is this Person Who is able to save? He is Jesus our holy, harmless, and undefiled Priest. Verse 26 tells us we have such a priest, "For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens" He did not need another sacrice, nor a daily sacrifice for He has already made one sacrifice forever :27. That sacrifice does not need to be repeated.
This Person is our Intercessor :24, 25. He ever lives to make intercession for us. In 1 Tim. 2:5 the apostle tells us that there is one mediator between God and man. That eliminates all dead and living who has or will claim to go between God and man. It matters not whether he be a "saint", "priest, or pope or even "holy mother." He saves all that come to God through Him :25; John 6:37, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." That is every one whom God chose before the world began and gave them to Jesus will come to Jesus, and He will save them. That salvation is eternal because Jesus ever liveth to make intercession for them.

O What a Priest!
