JESUS IS VICTORIOUS

Mar 5:7 "And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with thee,
Jesus, thou Son of the most high God? I adjure thee by God, that thou
                   torment me not."

In these times of trouble and turmoil, how wonderful it is to know that we serve a Savior Whom will in the end be victorious.  He may sometimes seem to be in trouble, but He is always victorious.

He is victorious over the sinner.  The sinner seems to be too rebellious, but Jesus is victorious.  Sane men in their sin fear the judgment of God.  Here was a devil possessed man.  He was bound by the devil that was in him.  Yet when he met Jesus, he was afraid.  Like this devil possessed man, sinful men desire to be left alone.  They don't want to be troubled about their sin.  This man was so possessed that he could not even be bound with chains.  Sin does that. It binds the sinner in his evil ways.  There is no limit as to how far it can go.

Yet, Jesus is victorious.  He commanded the unclean spirit to come out of the man, and he did.  The unclean spirits went out and entered into the near by swine.  Then the swine ran into the sea and were choked to death.

Jesus is victorious over Satan, Himself.  The devil always sought to defeat Christ.  After Jesus had fasted for 40 days and nights, Satan came to him in His physically weakened condition.  There he tempted Him, but he was unsuccessful.  Jesus did not sin.  Now the time will come when Jesus will be the final victor over Satan.  See Rev_20:10  And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.  There will be no more ISIS then.

Jesus is victorious over all circumstances.  He calmed the sea.  He enabled Peter to walk on the water.  He closed the mouth of the lions when Daniel was cast into the den of lions.  He will complete the salvation of all those whom the Father gave Him.  John 6:37 says, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out."  This tells us that every one of God's elect (those whom the Father gave to Christ) will come to Christ.  Then Jesus affirmed that when they come, He will not cast any of them out.

PRAISE GOD for our victorious Savior.
