I'VE BEEN THINKING

Below is a letter I sent to Congressman Holding of our state.  I think it is self explanatory.  I would like your comments on what you think.
Dear Congressman Holding,
Thank you for your reply to my letter.  I know you are busy, and to take the time to reply is not something I take lightly.  In your post which is saved below you made the following statements.

"Instead, let's focus on fighting crime by enforcing the laws already in place...I am in the first line of defense against any legislation that threatens our Second Amendment rights. Thanks for bringing this matter to my attention--I'll keep a watchful eye on this important issue."
Please accept a matter of caution.  I am not accusing you, but you must know that many of our elected officials enshroud their devious intents in similar words.  Yes let us fight crime with laws we already have.  Let us also remember that the second amendment to our constitution was not put there to protect the rights of hunters as some argue.  That amendment was included in our Bill of Rights to grant a safeguard against a tyrannical government oppressing the people. Those founding fathers knew what that was like, and sought to deliver us from it.  I don't have to tell you that our present president and his department of justice are using presidential edicts to govern in spite of constitution or congress.  Without declaring himself as such, he has become the first dictator of our republic.   With the military at his command, he can enforce any edict he declares unless you people in congress reign him in.  I ask you to please keep a watchful eye as you said.  Note his dictatorial actions and those actions of delivering our sovereignty to the UN, and restrain him.  He is bankrupting and weakening our nation, and I don't hear the restraining voice in congress.  You may say that you are only one.  I understand that, but you "ones" in congress must sound the alarm to your fellow congressmen and wake them up to what is going on.  That is why we little citizens are raising our voices.

I write in respect to you, but also in fear of what is happening to our country.
Sincerely,
Moody Roberts
