I'VE BEEN THINKING

Will they take all our freedom away?  I just read about a speech Senator Ted Cruz made at the Family Research Council.  See a statement he made.  "'I’m not making this up,' said Cruz, speaking at the Family Research Council event on Thursday.  'Senator Chuck Schumer has announced the Senate Democrats are scheduling a vote on a constitutional amendment to give Congress the plenary power, the unlimited authority, to regulate political speech,' Cruz told the audience, who sounded quite disgruntled to hear the news"

Do you realize such an amendment would in effect wipe out the first amendment to our constitution?  That means no more freedom of speech, no more freedom of the press, and no more freedom in religious matters.  Men like Senator Chuck Schumer and President Obama could then tell us what we could or could not say, what we could or could not write, and what we could or could not preach.  Before you say it can not happen in this good old USA, remember we used to think a person who was not a natural born citizen of the USA could not be president.  Contrary to our constitution this son of Kenya has almost made himself king in this good land.  Before you criticize me for calling him a son of Kenya, you think he is not, let it be known that I heard a clip on the internet in which he and the first lady both said he was born in Kenya.  The elected officials we have now do not have the intestinal fortitude to see this settled any more than they do to make the criminals in the fiasco in Libya accountable.  Because we are so reluctant to do what we need to do we have lost our country to the socialists without their firing a shot.  Isn't that what the Russian leader predicted?

I am angry, yes, and you ought to be too.  I wonder how much longer I will be able to write like this.
